We’re big on using local ingredients as much as we can. Fish pulled from Hawaiian waters! Buttered and toasted Punalu’u Bake Shop sweetbread buns direct from the small southern Big Island town of Na’alehu. Green leaf lettuce from Waimea, and Oahu tomatoes. Goat cheese from Honoka’a. You know, local.
We wanted to open a restaurant where you can come in and get great food quickly and inexpensively. We are a quick serve restaurant, meaning that you order at our counter and we bring the food out to you.
The other thing we’re big on is cleanliness. Our kitchen is open for all to see (and you’re welcome to walk through it if you’d like), and you’ll be hard pressed to find a cleaner bathroom in Kona.
